Enterprise - Study Task 2

How will I promote myself ?  

Based on the principles that have been introduced so far in the Enterprise module and your findings in previous tasks, evaluate the most suitable marketing methodologies for your own practice and the most effective methods to reach your potential customers.

It is essential that you make references to some of the methodologies in the ‘Marketing Communication Mix’ and evaluate the ‘Place’ that will give you the greatest competitive advantage and be convenient for your clients / customers.

This is an exercise in applying that theory – it is not appropriate to write about the theory itself. Demonstrate your understanding of it by actually using it.

In responding to his task you should consider the following questions:
  • What do ‘they’ want to hear? 
  • What should I say to ‘them’? 
  • How will I communicate with ‘them’?  

Mandatory Requirements / Deliverables  

The results of your research should be posted to your Enterprise blog. and summarised by a 250 word statement/evaluation. You should aim to illustrate your opinions with relevant examples of contemporary design practice.

Where are my potential clients/employers located? 

My potential clients i feel would be quite small business and then work on recommendations and work brought towards me for the first part of my working life so that i could build an impressive portfolio then try speak out the larger business where the recommendations would be to other large companies and then i would have a well paying client base who have trust and communication with myself. I don't really mind where i end up being located id personally like to live and work in either America or Australia.

Clients i feel can be situated anywhere in the world with technology such as Skype and other communicational softwares a solid line to the client could be maintained easily no matter where they are. the benefit if eel of having clients in the same area or country as myself would of corse be the meeting up at some point and discussing ideas aswel as the referrals being probably quite close to the last client.

What media do my potential clients/employers use? 

Media which clients will use can vary being able to accommodate for almost anything would be ideal however knowing limits is just as important. Most of my clients i feel would use media such as print and design for screen. Businesses all have print within them from annual reports to the corporate business cards. This being said i feel potential clients will be moving onto more digital presences with a lot of documentation being only on screen with the increase in tablets there is much higher demand for digital design.

What do you need to communicate and how does it match what your clients/employer need?

I will beed to communicate my passion and understanding of the subject and show a sense of professionalism with everything i show. By coming showing this side of myself the client will know they will receive good quality work.
